Week 8 Day 53 P90/Insanity Hybrid Workout - YOGA!!!!!

Well...it has been 4 weeks since my last "relax"
week of this P90x/Insanity Hybrid workout. Time for Yoga again!! I really have to get my mind right for this workout. It is tough....it is long...and it is getting hot in Las Vegas, NV right now. We are breaking 100's and I do my workouts in my garage...so you can imagine how hot it is in there. This is an hour and a half of yoga. Hot, intense, strenuous & super slow!! Ha ha I really can't have anything going on in my house or in my mind to get out what i need to get out of this workout. Clear the mind, ease the brain, focus on my breathing and stretch my body to the limits. Patience is also key. For many people, they cannot get through this workout because it is slow, long and tough. This is not an easy workout. For many it is very boring. They can't keep such a slow pace for that long. Funny...I would put myself in that category more times than not. I am go go go and for this workout I have to slow slow slow.

So on to the workout. Last week was tough...I got through it. This
week was tough and I was still able to get through it. This week I was
able to focus even more and I felt that my flexibility had gotten
better, as had my balance. Good thing cause some of these moves are
tough balance moves. My weight loss has really helped with my yoga
workouts. Fat doesn't really mesh with yoga, stretching, balance, etc.
At least not for me. My garage had to have been about 110 degrees and I
was sweating like a dog!!

Focus....free your mind!!

All in all this was a great hour and a half of yoga. Body is getting more limber and I am able to really just enjoy to time spent doing this workout. Tomorrow....KENPO!!!!
